Mayfield Environmental Solutions specializes in the remediation and abatement of HAZMAT, HazWaste, RCRA, Contaminated Soils, and VOCs using our special HAZMAT Licensing and SCAQMD-1166 Permitting. We have decades of experience in Lab Pack preparation and hazardous waste management on Superfunds/CRCLA/Landfills/Cleanup Sites and industrial facilities across Southern California.

**Unlike most environmental companies,** we have the state’s rare Hazardous Substances Removal License (#833333) to safely work with, remediate, and remove contaminated and toxic materials, Manifesting them safely to licensed TSDF Landfills from cradle to grave. We also do Supplied Air/Level B Work.

A licensed Hazardous Substances Removal Engineering Contractor will personally oversee the identification, characterization, classification, preparation/packing, and labeling of all Lab Pack material shipments in compliance with all DTSC, DOT, and EPA standards. Materials will be properly sorted by packing group and HAZMAT characteristic (ignibility, corrosivity, reactivity) and carefully itemized one-by-one for your records prior to transport. Lab Packs will then be transported in compliance with DOT regulations to a licensed TSDF receiving Landfill, whereupon a proper Chain of Custody/Hazardous Waste Manifest will be returned to the client to certify proper handling from cradle to grave.

Having helped maintain many of SoCal’s worst cleanup sites and Superfunds for decades, Mayfield’s engineers and laborers are ready to help with hazardous waste disposal/transportation, leak protection, spill cleanups, vacuum and substance consolidation, Waste Characterization, gas vapor monitoring, confined space work, and DTSC/AQMD/EPA compliance support. Unlike other companies, we have the Stormwater licensing to keep your site compliant with CA Water Board requirements as well as monitoring for potential water quality exceedances that might put your Industrial General Permit (IGP) at risk.

All our laborers are 40-hour HAZWOPER certified and are classified as laborers. That means you won’t be charged hidden “scientist” rates and charged $200 per hour to use a shovel like many competitors. We are licensed HAZMAT transporters through DTSC, EPA, DOT, and FMCSA Registration #7097, EPA #CAL000482049. We are also licensed Trauma Waste Transporters (#835) through California Dept of Public Health and licensed Medical Waste Transporters (#7097) through CDPH). If we can’t fit it on our trucks, our partners will while we use our licensing to oversee comprehensive Hazardous Substances management and compliance.
